Administration of qualified retirement plans is a unique career that you cannot learn in school. Pension Administrators typically have some background in accounting or human resources, and the ability to work with spreadsheets and numbers. Experience with MS office is required.
 
We currently have the following positions available in Honolulu, Hawaii:
 
 
         401(k) / Pension Administrator
Job Description: Responsible for the day to day administration of 401(k) and/or Defined Benefit Pension Plans.  Services include census review, contribution calculations, participant allocations, discrimination testing, government forms etc. Experience with Datair and vendors such as Nationwide, John Hancock, ING, TransAmerica, Oppenheimer, MassMutual, American Funds etc. a plus but not required. The successfull applicant will be committed to living in Honolulu, Hawaii for a minimum of 3 years.

Administrative Assistant
 
Job Description: To assist a 401(k) administrator in a timely and professional manner in all aspects of the administration of employee benefit plans, including preparation of Pre-Year-End kits, regular follow ups, participant terminations, loans, allocations, etc., preparation of Form 5500, and other duties as assigned.
